I made contact with Robert Schaasberg when I wanted to take the next step from Building Management to Registered Builder, something I had been considering for some years but was always too busy or considered the required credentials beyond my experience. After a couple of phone calls Rob attended my office in Country Victoria, sat with me and covered off my recognised experience and also my life experience, outlining any areas I needed to brush up on. During a normally busy and interrupted office day Rob set up in the background, asked questions, made notes, reconfirmed items, collated certificates and references and concluded the day with a first draft of my submission for the VBA.
Over the next few weeks Rob chipped away at the requirements and finally ended with a finished submission. I was quite astounded when I received a call to attend for examinations but equally nervous about the exam content. Again Rob reassured and advised on study material which eventuated in passing of exams and invitation to attend for an interview. Rob met with me prior to interview and provided much needed moral support and confidence, I was successful.
It is without a doubt that without Rob’s personal assistance and correspondence I would not have received my DBU, possibly not yet even taking the steps towards initial application. I have since referred others to Rob’s services confident on their process being equally successful. Rob provided a solution for my lack of time and lack of confidence in the process.
